Tangy Chicken




Tangy Chicken is a scrumptious and tongue tickling appetizer , it is a must try Recipe , I am sure you and your family will love it.
In Tangy Chicken , I have deep fried the marinated chicken pieces and then tossed in tangy sauce , for that flavourful taste.  
With minimal ingredients , this Tangy Chicken is one of the best , quick and fastest making Recipe. Without much ado , here is the recipe of TANGY CHICKEN.



INGREDIENTS : 

1 kg chicken with bones ( mine is approxi 750 gms ) 
2 tsp lemon juice 
1 tsp vinegar 
1 tsp black pepper 
2 cups tomato sauce 
1/2 or 1 tsp black pepper 
1 and half tsp chilly powder + 1tsp red chilly powder 
1 and half tsp red chilly flakes 
1 egg whisked
few chopped spring onions green  
 3/4 cup cornflour 
salt to taste 
3 tbsp oil

METHOD : 
  • Clean , wash and poke each chicken piece with a knife and marinate with lemon , vinegar , 1 tsp black pepper , 1 tsp red chilly powder and salt , mix well and keep aside for 2 -3 hours. 
  • Heat oil in kadhai , once the oil is hot , slow down the flame.
  • Add cornflour and egg to the chicken , mix well . Slowly one by one transfer each well coated chicken pieces and deep fry them in batches on slow to medium flame until golden.
  • Meanwhile side by side , in a sauce pan , drizzle some oil , add tomato sauce , 1/2 or 1 tsp black pepper , chilly flakes and 1 and 1/2 tsp red chilly powder . Cook for 1-2 minutes , Now add 1/4 cup water and simmer it for 3-5 minutes.
  • Drain the fried chicken pieces and place on an absorbent paper , add the chicken pieces to the prepared gravy , toss and transfer in a serving bowl , garnish with spring onions green. 
  • Serve hot immediately .


NOTE : 

  • If you want , that your dish looks more appealing and eye pleasing then in a broad serving plate , add the sauce and place the deep fried crispy chicken , garnish with few french fries and chopped spring onions green.
  • You can adjust like increase or decrease number of chilly powder , vinegar , pepper powder and other seasonings as per your preferences and taste.



PREPARATION TIME : 30 -35 Minutes . ( excluding marination time ) 
SERVES : 4 PERSONS.
